Salasar Bags Rs 112-Cr Jio Towers Order; Shares Zoom
Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd, a leading manufacturer of telecom towers in lndia, has bagged a new order of Rs 112 crore from the Mukesh Ambani-owned telecom giant Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd (Jio).
According to the company, the order is to supply 1,715 telecom towers worth Rs 112 crore to Reliance Jio. The order is to be executed by March 2018, it said.
Shashank Agarwal, Joint Managing Director, Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd, said, “with this prestigious order, we have significantly strengthened our order book position and continue to command a strong presence in the supply and erection of telecom towers. We have been recognized as one of the major telecom tower solution providers in lndia and this order further consolidates our position in the telecom space. We have always focused on project execution and increasing our operational efficiencies, which have been key to our success. With this order, our total order book now stands at over Rs 400 crore.”
Incorporated in 2007, Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd, is a provider of customized steel fabrication and infrastructure solutions in lndia. lt provides 360-degree solutions by carrying out engineering, designing, fabrication, galvanization and deployment. lts products include telecommunication towers, power transmission line towers, smart lighting poles, monopoles, guard roils, substation structures, solar module mounting structures and customized galvanized & non-galvanized steel structures.
Shares of the company jumped more than 6% to touch a new one month-high of Rs 299 intraday today on BSE after the news came in. The Rs 10 face value shares closed trading at Rs 293.35, up 5.50% from the previous closing of Rs 278.05.
