
KNR Constructions rises 6.5%; bags Rs 669cr order from NHAI
KNR Constructions rose 6.7 percent intraday Friday on the back of bagging of order from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). The company has bagged an order worth Rs 669.06 crore towards 4 laning of Kazhakkottam to Mukkola section from Km 0.000 to Km 26.500 of NH-47 in the state of Kerala under NHDP Phase-III on EPC mode.
The order is to be completed within a period of 24 months from the appointment date. Earlier, in the month of April the company has bagged order worth Rs 937.08 crore for improvement/augmentation of Madhurai-Ramanathapuram of NH-49 in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The company is going announce its January-March quarter results on May 28, 2015. At 09:48 hrs KNR Constructions was quoting at Rs 514.40, up Rs 31.20, or 6.46 percent. It has touched a 52-week high of Rs 515.50 on the BSE.
