Kalpataru Power surges 6% on bagging orders worth Rs 781cr

Shares of Kalpataru Power Transmission rose 6 percent intraday Thursday. The company has secured new orders of over Rs 781 crore. The orders include the transmission line projects in international geographies namely Malawi and Kuwait of approximately Rs 594 crore and pipeline project of approximately of Rs 187 crore from ONGC .



Manish Mohnot, Managing Director, Kalpataru Power said, "In the year till date, we have secured orders of around Rs 3,460 crore, this is almost 3 times of order inflow of last year in the same period. Interestingly, all of our business segments, client segments and geographies are contributing this growth”.



At 10:47 hrs Kalpataru Power Transmission was quoting at Rs 263.25, up Rs 8.85, or 3.48 percent.
