Cords Cable Industries has received order worth Rs 15.72 crore from Welspun Energy.



According to a release issued by the company to the BSE, the said order is for supply of a variety of LT cables towards a 100 MW solar project in the state of Tamil Nadu.



Welspun Energy recently signed a power purchase agreement with Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company (TANGEDCO) for setting up a 100 MW solar project in the state.



Meanwhile, the stock has soared 8.8 per cent at Rs 21.75.
