Ahluwalia Contracts up 3.2%, bags new project of Rs 220cr

Shares of Ahluwalia Contracts India added 3.2 percent intraday Monday as the company has bagged new order worth of Rs 220.47 crore.



The order is for construction of institutional/ commercial buildings, including electrical, plumbing and firefighting services. This orders includes the construction of civil packages work for Brookfield Asset Management of Rs 154 crore and worth of Rs 66.47 crore for construction of Bennett University of Times of India.



The company has informed that they are currently L1 in project valued approximately Rs 412 crore and the project bidded under pipeline are Rs 1800 crore.



The total order inflow during the FY 2015-2016 stands at Rs 1214.48 crore and the company's current order book is Rs 4300 crore. Shobhit Uppal, Dy Managing Director said, "The company is gaining orders regularly during the current fiscal year due to which order book reached Rs 4300 crore.



The main focus of the company would be on speedy execution and timely delivery of project." At 12:13 hrs Ahluwalia Contracts India was quoting at Rs 269.80, up Rs 2.50, or 0.94 percent on the BSE.
