Karnataka Power Transmission Corpn. is setting up substation in Shivamogga district, Karnataka

Karnataka Power Transmission Corpn. is setting up 1x10 MVA, 110/11 kV substation at Thyagarthi in Shivamogga district of Karnataka.

The project also comprises construction of 110 kV SC line on DC towers with Lynx conductor from 110 kV Shivamogga-Sagara (SS2) line to proposed 110 kV substation at Thyagarthi for distance of about 11.662 km at proposed substation.

The work on the project was commenced in March 2022.
